The Van Cleef & Arpels private collection is inspired by the flowers of the world's most beautiful gardens. All fragrances are crafted with the highest quality raw materials, in which 40% aromatic essences are concentrated, providing an intense and long-lasting aroma.

Rare and precious, Oud wood is at the pinnacle of exceptional perfumery. It comes from the Aquilaria tree, which grows in India. The woody, balsamic resinous fragrance of Oud brings earthy and leathery accents, while the magnificent floral accord of Iris and Jasmine reveals a warm and sensual aroma, making Collection Extraordinaire Precious Oud a fragrance with character. A fragrance from the oriental floral olfactory family for women. Launched in 2011, it is one of the most precious fragrances to join this collection and was created by perfumer Amandine Marie, whose mentor was perfumer Michel Almairac. Her desire was to accentuate oud as an ingredient and combine it with floral elements. The top notes of this perfume are enriched with sparks of bergamot combined with bold pink pepper. The heart is filled with jasmine and tuberose petals enveloped in intense incense over a base created from precious woody accords of patchouli, oud, vetiver, and sandalwood, along with a warm trail of amber. Van Cleef & Arpels Collection Extraordinaire Precious Oud comes in a classic bottle, shaped like previous fragrances in the Extraordinaire collection, crafted from glass with a dark cylindrical cap.
