El Eau de toilette created on the Nile 2005, evokes an olfactory trip to the "garden islands" of Aswan, Egypt. With this composition, the perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena captures the essence of the river that gives it its name, synonymous with life and generosity. an acidulated green mango with a delicate lotus and an elegant sycamore.
THE OBJECT
The jar, designed by Fred Rawyler, is inspired by the lines of the headlights of vintage cars. The glass of the jar comes to life thanks to a delicate green gradient inspired by the banks of the Nile. The case is illustrated with a lotus flower drawn by the brush of the artist Véronique de Mareuil. a place, the source of inspiration of the perfumer and the theme that maison Hermès chooses each year to illustrate its creation. An olfactory tour that invites you to enjoy every moment shared and to pursue the desire for freshness, to dream and to escape.

Un Jardin sur le Nile is an impressionistic walk through the islands-garden of the Nile, in Aswan, starting point of this new olfactory journey. Green mango, lotus, frankincense, pomegranate and sycamore wood make up the heart of this refreshing ode.
